Сюжетная основа у нового фильм, к сожалению, особо не изменилась по сравнению с первой частью. Да, у нас опять злые девочки, желающие, конечно же, захватить мир школу. У нас опять главные героини, которые дружно пытаются помешать им в этом. Увы, так же как и первый фильм, Rainbow Rocks страдает от своей шаблонности в сюжете. Все это мы видели и в предыдущем фильме, и в других подобных произведениях. Злодейки, пытающиеся подчинить себе всех и вся, главные героини, которых, несмотря на некоторые разногласия, объединяет дружба — вот это вот всё под чуть другими красками. Но, справедливости ради, стоит отметить, что фильм в сравнении с первой частью хорошо добавил в своей динамике и избавился от заметных сценарных провисаний. На сей раз авторы уделили все своё внимание главным героиням, а остальным персонажам, можно сказать, оставил по минимуму экранов времени.
Для довольно непродолжительного фильма полнометражка длится чуть больше часа это, пожалуй, даже на пользу. Команда А снова в сборе! С главными героинями и их характерами мы знакомы еще с оригинального сериала и с первого фильма, здесь их отличительные черты лишь подчеркиваются. И ладно бы с этим, но к главной шестерке добавилась седьмая участница — Сансет Шиммер. После событий первого фильма она становится настоящим изгоем в школе. Ну а как вы бы относились к человеку, который превратил вас в зомби и решил захватить мир?

Twilight learns that Fluttershy has delivered the crown to Principal Celestia, mistaking it for a prop meant for the elected "princess" of the Fall Formal. The other princesses explain that the portal leads to an alternate world; as the other Elements of Harmony are unusable without the crown, Twilight is tasked with retrieving it from the other world before the portal closes for thirty moons. Twilight and Spike emerge in the other world in the form of a human teenager and a dog, respectively. Twilight investigates the nearby Canterlot High School and encounters its human students and staff, several of whom resemble ponies in Equestria.
A one-off movie as an interesting parallel universe thing? Sure, that was fun. Still, I was glad to get a chance at a sneak peek at some of the upcoming episodes of the new Equestria Girls digital series. That is, until they get older and age right back down into loving the sweetness of Friendship is Magic again.
Chapter 5 will have 6 episodes, while Chapter 6 will have 3 episodes and 1 special; the final special will be titled and marketed as "Secrets of Starlight". We are reliably informed that Chapter 5 will be released on September 18, 2023, and Chapter 6 will be released on November 23, 2023.
The only slide discussing the future of Make Your Mark just states that it will stay on Netflix in 2024, and the rest of the presentation is focused squarely on Tell Your Tale. To get what her heart desires, the awkward girl must push her way into the student body and compete against a clique-y popular girl. Everyone fits into a stereotype, as expected from a story set in high school. And as you can see from the synopsis, the story is pretty shallow. That being said, the animation is smooth and impressive given that it was created with Adobe Flash.
Из плюсов можно отдельно отметить отсутствие явных значительных недостатков у фильма. А вот «Spring Breakdown» у меня навсегда остался фаворитам. Во первых, за то что они довольно красиво уместили такой объёмный сюжет в такой относительно малый формат. Во вторых, за второй акт фильма. Только по-настоящему прожженный фанат фанфиков максимально оценит этот момент. Мало того, что режиссер углядел ключевой акцент в подобном жанре фанатских историй, и нехило так его передал, так ещё они умудрились всеми локациями практически повторить классический путь всех «людей».
Я серьёзно, они все шли именно по тем улицам, где проходила главная троица. И наконец, медаль Сансет Шиммер за самое скрытное проникновение в логово местной Твайлайт из всех, что мне приходилось видеть, а точнее читать. В третьих, за эпизодические моменты на яхте — вот же могут, когда захотят. Правда, хоть и концовка оставляет желать лучшего, но второй акт затащил капитально. Касательно короткометражек, кроме песен, прокомментируют только самые яркие. Например, «Subs Rock», не знаю кому как, но для меня это не эпизод, а жиза. Я абсолютно серьёзен. Большинство практик и лабораторных в универе проходили так, как урок у Селестии. Прикольная «How To Backstage».
